The Henry Howell household was the next household surveyed after the John Reid household, which included two family members named "Howell" and the wife of John Reid, whose maiden is known to have been "Howell". In all likelihood, the members of this household are related to those Howells. All of the Howells, except Matilda Reid, were born in Georgia. Matilda Reid, the youngest Howell of these four, was born in Mississippi.
