"Marriages of Wilkes County, North Carolina (1788-1868)" compiled by Brent H. Holcomb includes a marriage bond issued Thomas Demoss on 11 Sep 1798, but to marry ANN GREER not Nancy GREER. While I suppose it is possible an 82 year old woman would have married, it is more likely that Thomas Demoss married a woman named Ann Greer as indicated on the marriage bond.¹ Thomas DeMoss and Ann Greer were issued a Marriage Bond on 11 September 1798 at Wilkes County, North Carolina, United States. Job Cole served as bondsman.²
